Tabu’s Dune Prophecy co-star Emily Watson calls her ‘Julia Roberts of India’

Tabu stars as Sister Francesca in Dune: Prophecy. The show will stream on JioCinema from November 18, 2024. At New York Comic Con (NYCC), her co-star Emily Watson, who plays Valya Harkonnen in the series, praised the Khufiya actor.
The trailer of Dune Prophecy was unveiled today. Tabu made a brife but dramatic appearance in it. Set 10,000 years before Paul Atreides’ rise to power, Dune: Prophecy chronicles the journey of two Harkonnen sisters as they battle forces endangering humanity’s future.
During the panel discussion with fans and media at NYCC, Emily Watson opened up about working with Tabu. “Tabu is the most astonishingly beautiful actress. She is the Julia Roberts of India,” she said.

The trailer of Dune Prophecy of the HBO Original series features an impressive ensemble cast, including Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, and Shalom Brune-Franklin, apart from Emily Watson and Tabu.
Dune: Prophecy is set to premiere on JioCinema on November 18 at 6:30 AM, with new episodes dropping every Monday. The series will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi.
